Chapter 474 Taking Advantage of the Situation

"Where are you now? Share your location with me, and I'll come to you."

"Don't come. You know how my master is. If you show up, she might be even less inclined to let anyone go."

With her master intent on pairing her with Felix, Bradley's presence would only worsen the situation.

Matthew was still with her master, so she needed to find a way to appease her. She no longer had the energy to mediate their relationship.

Just as Bradley was about to speak, a maid entered to inform him, "Mr. Bradley, you have mail."

"If you're busy, go ahead. I'm driving, so I won't talk for long."

Upon hearing this, Freya bid farewell and ended the call.

She headed to the location provided by Queen Sally.

Bradley's face darkened as he heard the beep from the phone.

He took the mail that the maid brought and opened it to find a letter inside.

The pink heart-shaped letter paper was very eye-catching, and the two words written on it made Bradley frowned.

Lucy?

What did she want by writing him a letter?

He couldn't be bothered to read it and was about to throw it into the trash can when he heard the maid's voice.

"Mr. Bradley, the person who delivered the letter said it's very important. You'll regret not reading it."

Hearing this, his brow furrowed even deeper.

He picked up the letter and went to the study to open it.

Glancing through it, he read it in a blink of an eye.

However, the solitude in his eyes was as dark as rolling ink, frighteningly heavy.

He instantly crumpled the letter and tossed it into the trash can.

Picking up his phone, he then called Xavier with his phone, "Come to the study."

Ten minutes later.

Xavier arrived at the study.

Obviously, he had just come from the medical room, still wearing a white coat.

Recently, everything had been handled by Gabriel, and with all preparations completed, they were waiting for the best opportunity to act. There was no need for Xavier's involvement.

Currently, he had been focused on researching poison with Ella in the medical room.

"Why did you summon me here so urgently?"

Sitting on the sofa, Bradley's brows furrowed deeply.

Glancing at the letter in the trash can, he got up, picked it up, then tossed the crumpled letter to Xavier. "Take a look for yourself."

Xavier looked at the crumpled paper in his hand, full of questions.

He opened it and his face changed immediately.

"No way, Lucy wants to cooperate with you to deal with the Logan family together?"

Bradley remained silent for a long time.

He understood better than anyone else that Lucy's move was not purely innocent.

Although the purpose stated in the letter was ambiguous, it was not difficult to see that her great ambitions.

"Yes."

"What are you going to do?"

Lucy had made it clear in her letter that she could help them from both inside and outside, to bring down Kevin together.

If so, their plan would be much easier.

It's just that Lucy's intentions... were too obvious.

Even if she expressed her love subtly, Xavier could still see that she wanted to get Bradley and become his woman.

"Do you think I would betray Freya for power? If you were in my shoes, would you agree to cooperate with her, marry her after succeeding, and betray Ella?"

The man raised his eyebrows and looked at him, his tone indescribably cold.

Xavier immediately felt concerned, "Absolutely not. Besides Ella, I have no intention of marrying another woman in my lifetime."

"That's correct, I won't betray Freya for the sake of personal gain."

The man's tone was firm.

Curious, Xavier inquired, "Then why did you call me here?"

"The recent scandal surrounding Julia's store has stirred up a lot of trouble. Selena and Lucy are collaborating to put Freya in a precarious situation. Lucy has chosen to collaborate with me at this critical moment. I suspect her aim is to distract me, preventing me from helping Freya."

"What's your strategy?"

Xavier's eyes narrowed. He had heard about this matter from Ella, but he was surprised by the severity of the situation.

"Take advantage of the situation."

Bradley replied softly yet decisively. "Additionally, since Patrick is not here in Solterra, there are matters only you can handle. During the trial, many will accuse Julia's store, so you should station people around the courthouse and act accordingly."

"Rest assured, I'll ensure Freya's safety,"

With determination, Bradley rose, straightened his clothes, and spoke in a deep voice, "You may now inform Lucy that I agree to cooperate with her."

"Understood."

Upon receiving Bradley's response, Lucy leaped from the sofa in excitement.

"Selena, once I become the queen, you'll be my trusted confidante. Never mind the position and status as the chief designer, if you want a prominent position by my side, I will grant it, as long as your loyalty remains unwavering. I will never mistreat you."

Selena's eyes lit up as she said, "Lucy, your dreams are finally coming true. When you become the queen, everyone would obey your commands. You'll be the most honored woman in the entire Solterra."

Lucy was flattered by the praise. She could already imagine her future, filled with endless adoration and unbounded wealth.

The key was that her husband would be Leonard, that devilishly handsome man.

Thinking of Leonard's stature, Lucy's heart fluttered.

"Design the most alluring nightgown for me. I want to wear it to our bridal chamber after marrying Leonard."

Assuring, Selena replied, "Don't worry, Lucy. I'll create something that will satisfy you and captivate Leonard."

Lucy's mind was already filled with fantastical scenes, and her eyes were full of anticipation.

She giggled, "Go on."

"Okay."

"Wait."

As Selena turned to leave, she was stopped by Lucy.

"By the way, what was the name of the woman you bribed?"

"You mean Lily?"

"Yes, her. What did you do to her?" Lucy asked.

Selena squinted, a hint of ruthlessness flashing in her eyes. "This woman isn't well-behaved. Last time, she caused trouble in my studio, planning to expose my plans. So, I locked her up."

"Kill her. Keeping her alive is a threat. Better yet, we can frame Freya directly after her death. It will put Freya in jail for a few more years. By the time I marry Leonard, this woman won't come out and become a stumbling block."

"Kill her?" Selena shuddered and stammered.

"Yes, force her to write a confession, shifting all the blame onto Freya. Claim that everything was staged by Freya to gain public attention and force Julia to step down, so Freya could replace her as the top designer. Later, Freya was afraid that Lily would expose the secret, so she killed Lily to silence her once and for all!"
