"Miss Selena, what should we do now?" the lawyer inquired anxiously.

"I'll go talk to Mr. Clark and Beau. You don't need to worry for now. Go inside and buy us some time from the court."

"Despite our pleas, the judge only granted us five minutes."

"Five minutes won't be enough!" Selena's unease grew. She rushed off to find Mr. Clark to discuss the situation.

"Sir, the witnesses are all missing for some reason. Should we present the evidence of Freya's crimes in advance?" Selena suggested, hoping to divert the judge's attention.

Mr. Clark's eyes shone brightly under his gold-framed glasses.

"With the witnesses dropping their lawsuits and revealing proof of framing, presenting the report now may be ineffective. If things go wrong, I might be accused of fabricating evidence," he sighed.

Selena urgently asked, "Then what should we do now? Should we just let this lawsuit be nullified?"

"Try to contact the witnesses. If she's willing to come and testify, we might still have a shot," he advised.

Selena was a little desperate. She was on the verge of victory when everything fell apart.

After speaking, she glanced at Freya with malevolent provocation.

"Miss Selena is right. If this person's behaviour is evil, we cannot let her off so easily," the plaintiff's lawyer added.

The judge banged the gavel and called for silence, then looked sternly at the crowd. "Plaintiff's lawyer, if you can present sufficient evidence to prove that the defendant indeed threatened the witness, then this would constitute a criminal offence, and I can request the prosecutor's intervention."

Selena smiled triumphantly, stepping closer in her towering high heels.

She stood directly before the plaintiff's lawyer, exchanging a glance with him before smiling. "Coincidentally, the deceased Lily was previously an employee of my Selena studio. I have cared for her mother-in-law and child after her tragic death. They will testify to find the perpetrator and give Lily justice."

Her words echoed loudly throughout the entire courtroom.
