Thankfully, there were no other cameras besides the one on the ceiling.
"Since there are none, let's begin."
With the camera gone, there was no reason to wait.
The wife he was thinking about was there. If he didn't punish her properly, how could he vent the bitterness in his heart for that needle?
Just as Freya was about to say something, Bradley swiftly pulled her onto the bed.
"If I become useless, what will you do in the future?"
Freya yelled, "If you become useless, I'll find someone else."
Her words made his expression darken immediately.
He forcefully pushed her down, looking down at her arrogantly. "I dare you to try finding someone else!"
The danger in his voice sent a chill through her.
Before Freya could react, the man's dominant kiss fell upon her.
This kiss was forceful, laced with a taste of punishment.
She struggled to breathe and gasped, "Honey, I’m suffocating."
However, Bradley didn’t relent.
Suddenly, a glint of metal flashed as he cut through the curtain’s hook with a dagger, plunging the brightly lit room into darkness.
One hour later.
Blushing, Freya hurried into the bathroom, turned on the faucet, and let the warm water wash over her.
Bradley leaned against the head of the bed with a smile on his handsome face.
His deep eyes lingered on the frosted glass door, where Freya’s petite figure was visible in silhouette.
His hand rested on his stomach, which was still sore but much better than before.
When that needle had pierced him, he thought he might not make it.
Thankfully, Freya’s medical skills had quickly healed him.
After the water stopped, Freya emerged in a bath towel.
Her wet hair dripped water as her bare feet padded across the floor, her porcelain-white face flushed.
Seeing this, Bradley frowned deeply.
He got off the bed and grabbed a towel, striding forward to wrap her head with it.
"Why didn’t you dry your hair before coming out? You’ll catch a cold."
"I couldn't find the hairdryer."
Bradley helplessly walked towards the cabinet, found a hairdryer in the drawer, and then led her to sit on the sofa.
"Sit still. I’ll dry your hair."
After hearing this, Freya didn't move either.
As long as someone was serving her, she could relax and enjoy.
Bradley asked as he blow-dried her hair, "I’ve been dropping hints about my identity all this time. Didn’t you ever suspect?"
Freya glanced at him.
Hadn't she suspected?
From the start, she’d thought he seemed a lot like Bradley.
She just assumed she was mistaken since their faces were different. Who knew he had been wearing a disguise?
She wouldn't have wasted so much effort if she had known he was Bradley.
The thought annoyed her a little.
But then she realized she had hidden things from him, so she had no right to be angry.
Bradley gently blow-dried her hair. "I'm glad you resist other men for my sake. It shows you can handle outside temptations. But, my dear, that needle just now really made me hurt."
Freya bit her lip, her eyes dropping in guilt.
Cough!
How could it not hurt?
She had been so focused on taking Bradley down that she didn't hold back.
Luckily, it fell short by an inch. Otherwise, what would happen to her future happiness?
Bradley finished drying her hair, and then gently combed it before pulling her close. They snuggled together on the sofa.
Freya fiddled with a skin mask in her hand. "You know disguise techniques, huh?"
"A little bit."
"Did your master teach you?" Freya had some knowledge of disguise techniques, but this was the first time she had seen a human skin mask as thin and lifelike as this one.
She had learned her disguise techniques from her third master, who told her that very few people could craft masks as exquisite as this.
It was surprising to find out that Bradley was among those few.
"No, it was my mother who taught me."
Bradley's mother was a master of disguise. He had learned disguise techniques from his mother since he was a child. Still, after the incident in Solterra, his mother's disguise techniques were also buried in the grave.
Over the years, Bradley studied disguise techniques independently, understanding the essence of this skill and mastering it.
"I didn't expect your mother to be a master as well. It's a pity that I won't have the chance to meet her in my lifetime!" Freya sighed.
Bradley moved her head to his shoulder and softly said, "When the day comes to retrieve Solterra, I will take you to pay respects to my family."
"Okay." Freya nodded.
"By the way, where did you learn your disguise technique?" Bradley asked, knowing Freya was also skilled in disguise.
She had previously appeared as Poppy, but her disguise had only scratched the surface of what was possible.
"Oh, I haven't told you. I have three masters - one is Master Gunther, one is Sally, and another Master is more mysterious. I haven't met him, so I don't know his real name."
Upon hearing this, Bradley's eyes darkened.
He once had a disciple who learned disguise techniques online. Still, that person had identified as male and seemed no match for Freya's skills.
Perhaps he was too sensitive!
Freya saw him staring at her and blinked suspiciously. "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"
The man smiled a little. "No."
"Then why are you looking at me like that?" she asked, feeling a bit uneasy under his scrutinizing gaze.
"Admiring your beauty."
"Sweet-talker!"
Freya playfully punched his chest, but Bradley caught her hand and planted a kiss on it.
“Knock, knock!”
A knocking sound came from outside. Agni coughed twice. "Ms. Lawson, is Felix here?"
The camera was dismantled, so their bet couldn't continue. The peeping toms were itching to get started. They had no choice but to change the rules.
As long as Felix was inside, Agni would consider it a win.
Freya heard the voice and hurriedly pushed Bradley away. "Someone’s here!"
"Let them come. You are my wife anyways, so who dares to say we can't be close?"
Freya was speechless.
How did she not realize before that Bradley was so unreasonable?
Now, his identity was Felix. They would be shocked if all the Leiton Island disciples knew he was already married.
Another knock came on the door. "Ms. Lawson ... " Agni's voice called again.
Feeling helpless, Freya shoved Bradley toward a hiding spot. "Stay hidden until I say so, alright?"
She quickly straightened her clothes, checked that everything looked perfect, and opened the door.
Agni and a few disciples stood at the door with their necks stretched out.
Upon seeing this, Freya smiled. "If you’re looking for Felix, you should check his room. I think you might be in the wrong place!"
