Leaving Grandpa's bedroom, Bradley originally wanted to take Freya out for a walk, but he was called to the study by Brian.
Freya was bored, so she went to the backyard to get some fresh air, but unexpectedly ran into James and Shawn die.
Seeing Freya, James's body stiffened for a moment, subconsciously separating himself from Shawn die who was holding his hand.
"I heard that your pregnancy symptoms are relatively severe, why are you not resting in bed and instead coming out for some fresh air?"
James smiled gently, still as elegant and generous as before, but compared to the past, he had lost a lot of weight.
Freya had some understanding of James's affairs abroad. Having to manage all the subsidiary companies alone and personally handle everything, with no one to take care of him, naturally made things harder for him.
"It's fine, those discomforts have slowly disappeared, I can eat and sleep now, and my spirits are good." Freya smiled, without the awkwardness of their encounter, but rather an added sense of calmness.
She believed that after these days of settling down, James would gradually let go of his feelings for her, after all, the James she knew was not one to hold onto things.
Furthermore, he now had Shawn die by his side, although their feelings may not have developed yet, she could see that Shawn die liked James.
She believes that Shawn die can use her passionate heart to heal the wounds in James's heart. "Are you eating and resting well, still in good spirits?" James looked at her intently, compared to before, she had lost some weight, her originally chubby face no longer had any extra flesh, even her chin had become thinner. This version of Freya truly made him feel heartbroken. Even though he didn't know how she had gotten through these days, he could guess that it definitely wasn't easy. Freya felt that the atmosphere was a bit awkward, James had shaken off Shawn die and she stood alone behind him, pouting, obviously unhappy. "Go and keep Shawn die company, after all, she's a guest and we can't neglect her!" With that, Freya turned around to leave. However, James stopped her, "Freya, she and I are just friends, not what you think..." "I didn't think much about it. Even though I've only met her once, I think she's a nice girl," Freya turned back and smiled at him, "Life is short, why bother being fixated on the past and not moving forward? You can see more beautiful scenery ahead, James, I hope you can be happy too!" Leaving these words behind, Freya walked towards the garden without looking back. The sunshine today was still good, warm and comfortable on her body.
Jimmy looked at her bathing in the sunlight, his eyes filled with sadness.
"Do you know, the happiness I desire most has always been you!"
A softly spoken sentence, but unfortunately Freya couldn't hear it, yet it clearly reached Gao Shawn die's ears.
She came up behind Jimmy, whispered softly, "But my happiness is not you, why do you insist on being obsessed with a relationship that does not belong to you, James, I can't guarantee I can be better than Freya, but my heart for you is sincere."
She hugged him from behind, pressing her face against his broad back, a look of happiness on Shawn die's face.
She loved this man.
From the moment she saw him, he captured her heart, otherwise she wouldn't have joined the Mu Corporation branch after graduation, just to wait for him to come one day and pretend to encounter him.
Jimmy's body stiffened slightly, as he reached out to push her away, he heard Shawn die's voice in his ear again, "Jimmy, don't push me away." And with that, she hugged him tighter.
Freya looked back from afar, only to see the two hugging each other, a faint smile playing on her lips.
Shawn Die.
Just as her name suggests, she is as passionate as fire. Even though James appears cold and aloof, it seems he cannot resist such a proactive girl. "Freya." Suddenly, a deep and magnetic male voice sounded in her ear, making Freya instinctively turn her head to look. Seeing Bradley tall and majestic, basking in the sunlight as he walked towards her, a smile unconsciously formed on her lips. She then took a step forward and, without waiting for him to come closer, directly threw herself into his arms. Bradley was somewhat pleasantly surprised, wrapping his arms around her tightly, "What's wrong? Why are you suddenly so proactive?" Freya pouted. Did he not like her being proactive? She furrowed her brows, "If you don't like me being proactive, then forget it, I'll leave."
The man held her tighter when he saw her trying to leave, saying, "Who said I don't like it? If you take the initiative to hug me and give me a kiss, that would be even better."
Freya was stunned for three seconds, then she raised her hand and lightly punched him, saying, "You take advantage of every sweet moment. Bradley, have you no shame?"
The man smiled and gently kissed her cheek, saying, "In front of my wife, I have no need for shame."
It had been so long since the two of them had relaxed like this. Bradley just wanted to tease this little woman, wanting to see her blushing, angry, and shy.
Freya was indeed mesmerized by his deep, sexy voice, struggling in his arms, saying, "If you continue like this, I won't talk to you."
She couldn't handle his sweetness, whether in the past or now. Just a few words could make her face turn red and her heart race, making her flustered.
But the man was relentless, like a little chick pecking at seeds, he kissed her all over her face, saying, "There's no one here, give me a kiss."
He softly coaxed her, his eyes full of deep affection.
Freya knew that when the man started to be affectionate, there was no stopping him. Since they were in the middle of the garden with no one around, she decided to tilt her head up and plant a kiss on his thin lips.
But soon, she let go, but her cheeks were already flushed red.
"All right, let go of me, I still want to walk around!"
Her struggle resulted in the man bending over swiftly and directly lifting her whole body into his arms.
Not carrying her horizontally, but facing each other, Freya's legs were sandwiched between his waist, and because she was caught off guard, her hands were still around his neck.
This posture was extremely ambiguous, especially in broad daylight, Freya actually felt the man's danger.
She was so embarrassed that she couldn't stand it anymore, and she pushed him away, "Put me down, I can walk by myself."
Bradley smiled, did not let go of her, but instead held her and walked towards the lavender garden.
A faint fragrance wafted over, the warm wind lifting her flowing long hair, she nestled in his arms, clear of his warmth, and his strong, forceful heartbeat.
Since returning from the southern country, Freya had never felt so relaxed.
Because of Shadow, Jade, and Jasmine, this woman kept causing trouble, her nerves were stretched tight every day, and she basically survived each day in busyness.
Being able to be so relaxed and at ease with Bradley today is truly the most luxurious thing.
