Chapter 769 Love and family feelings cannot coexist?

To be honest, too many things have happened recently, and her whole head is in a daze.

First, the sudden revelation of her origins caught her off guard, coupled with her mother's amnesia due to being murdered, and then Xavier's death. Just as she took over the Spirit Pavilion, all these things piling up have made her feel extremely overwhelmed.

She has no mood at all to acknowledge her relatives right now!

"Let's find the person first."

She clenched her fists silently, her voice slightly bitter.

Bradley nodded, "Okay, wait for my message!"

"Alright!"

Ella believed that as long as Bradley took action, the mysterious person hidden in the underground maze would soon come to light.

She also wanted to know who this person was and why her mother had trapped him in the maze!

After leaving the dark web, Ella did not immediately return to Raven Pavilion, but went to Belle's private villa for accommodation.

Belle has lost all her memories and currently only recognizes Ella.

As soon as Ella entered the villa, he heard a commotion coming from inside.

"Why hasn't Ella come back to see me? Does she not want me anymore?"

"Madam, you are Miss Mi's mother. How could Miss Mi not want you?"

"Then call her immediately and ask her to come back now."

The maid was very troubled. Ella had asked her to take care of Belle and had repeatedly instructed her not to call unless it was something very important, but the madam had been causing a fuss from early morning till now.

She had no choice but to agree to Belle's request and was about to contact Ella with her phone.

"No need to call, I'm back."

At that moment, a clear and cold female voice came from outside.

The nanny looked up and saw Ella, greeted her happily, "Miss Mi, Madam has been wanting to see you..."

"I know, you can go about your work now," Ella waved her hand.

"Yes, Miss Mi."

After the nanny left, Ella approached and held Belle's arm, saying, "It's all my fault, being too busy with work and not able to come back to see mother, making you upset."

Originally, Ella had considered sending Belle back to the Spirit Pavilion, but then she thought since she had lost her memory, it would be better for her to completely forget about the dirty things at the Spirit Pavilion, so she dismissed the idea and settled her in this villa for recuperation.

Unexpectedly, her mother, who had lost her memory, became clingy. If she didn't return for a day or two, her mother would throw temper tantrums, just like a child.

Belle snorted, "Do you think that Mom is a burden, so you don't care about her?"

She had no memory, staying in the villa every day, facing only the nanny, and at most, a few bodyguards protecting the villa from the outside.

Life was monotonous and boring, and she felt like a puppet, living with a sense of emptiness and helplessness, unable to see the direction of life clearly.

"How could that be, you are the mother who gave birth to me and raised me, how could I possibly not care for you." Ella understood his mother's current anxiety, after all, it was like starting over now. With many enemies outside, she limited her movements to protect her safety. Over time, she couldn't bear the Loneliness, which was normal. She comforted, "The weather is nice today, I will accompany you for a walk." "I won't walk, if you really care for me, then stay a few more days, Mom has just learned cooking with Aunt Chen, Mom will cook for you every day." Belle playfully said. Ella was surprised, "You can cook?" "Yes, Mom already can, if you don't believe, Mom will cook for you now." Belle's eyes, which had been absent-minded, suddenly lit up. Ella didn't want to crush her confidence, so he agreed even though he wasn't hungry. "You sit and rest, if you get bored, watch TV or check the news, Mom will start cooking." Belle happily went to the kitchen, skillfully tying an apron, taking out vegetables from the fridge and starting to prepare.

Ella sat on the sofa, quietly watching Belle's busy figure, a nameless strange feeling surged in her heart.

Since childhood, because Belle valued her, she was extremely strict with her, never letting her slack off even when training and bleeding.

She had always revered Belle, even feeling a bit afraid of her deep down.

As the head of the Spirit Pavilion, Belle had a high status and was someone she looked up to.

But now she was in the kitchen washing her hands and cooking for her, Ella felt it was unreal.

The busy Belle would occasionally look back at Ella, with a gentle smile on her lips, resembling a typical mother.

As Ella watched, her eyes became moist.

She never knew that, though she had lost love, she could still have affection.

She closed her eyes, holding back the tears, but her heart was already overflowing.

After about half an hour, Belle came out with the dishes.

She had just recently started learning cooking, all the dishes she made were simple, but the colors were extremely vibrant, looking very appetizing.

"Ella, go wash your hands quickly, dinner is ready." When Belle brought the soup over, it was like she was reminding a child.

Though Ella had just calmed down, her heart became heavy again because of these words.

She nodded heavily, got up and walked towards the bathroom. However, as soon as she stepped in, tears uncontrollably streamed down her face.

The once most yearned for affection was now close at hand, but she found it hard to adapt.

Fate was truly playful, granting her love, but denone her affection. Love died, yet affection returned.

Could it be... that love and affection cannot coexist?

"Ella, are you dying washing?"

Belle's voice came once again.

Ella looked at her tear-streaked self in the mirror, quickly wiped away the tears, washed her face with clear water, and only then walked out.

Belle had already prepared a meal for her, smiling and saying, "Mom has just learned these basic dishes, why don't you try them and see if they taste good." After that, she started to serve her some dishes. Soon, Ella's bowl was filled with a small mountain of food. Ella picked up the chopsticks, holding back tears, and began to eat with determination. Although it was just ordinary home-cooked food, she somehow tasted the flavors of delicacies. "Delicious, I think I can have another bowl of rice." She smiled and gave a thumbs up to Belle. Belle was delighted, "As long as you enjoy it, Mom will learn other dishes and cook for you every day." "Okay," Ella's voice choked.

The mother and Yara sat facing each other, enjoying a warm and pleasant atmosphere while eating. After the meal, they sat on the sofa chatting, and Ella remembered what Bradley had said, subtly asking in a different way.

"Mom, do you remember Gordon?"

Belle shook her head blankly, "Who is Gordon?"

Hearing this, Ella was not surprised at all and sighed, "He is your husband, my biological father."

Belle's vacant eyes suddenly flickered with a dim and unclear light.

She turned to Ella and said, "Since my husband is still around, why isn't he coming to be with me? Ella, can you bring him here?"
