Freya had a long dream.
A pleasant and beautiful dream.
In the dream, she appeared in a grand banquet wearing a gorgeous evening gown inside a white jade palace.
The crowd was filled with the nobles and elites of the upper class, with the sound of clinking dishes and cups echoing constantly.
She wandered through the crowd, and suddenly someone tapped her shoulder. When she turned around, she saw a familiar handsome face.
"Beautiful princess, may I have the honor of dancing with you?"
The man, with great gallantry, extended his hand towards her.
Freya grinned and slowly placed her hand in his palm.
Even in her dream, she could clearly feel the warmth of Bradley.
The man twirled her around in the dance floor like this, and after a song finished, he magically presented her with a red rose. The surrounding area filled with warm applause. "The princess and the lord of the Southern Kingdom are truly a perfect match, they are destined lovers." Princess? When did she become a princess? Just as Freya was feeling confused, an older man approached her with a kind smile, "Lord of the Southern Kingdom, I entrust my Yara to you. If you dare to disappoint her, don't blame me for not sparing you, all my subjects will not let you off." Freya widened her eyes, trying hard to see the man's face clearly. But before her vision could widen, a dull pain wildly struck her body, causing her to scream in agony. When she opened her eyes, Freya realized she was in a dark space. She was submerged in water, her wounds had turned white from soaking, and the visible scars were shocking.
Where am I?
Freya dragged her weak body ashore, unable to hear the surrounding sounds, she could only feel her way with what she saw in front of her.
Surrounded by Stone walls, covered with moss due to the excessive humidity.
Her body was too weak to walk far, the suffocating feeling came on fiercely.
Freya dared not move, subconsciously felt for the needle pouch around her waist, luckily it was still there.
Sitting down, she began to acupuncture herself based on her feelings.
Half an hour later, the pain eased somewhat, she rested in place for a moment before continuing to explore the secrets here.
This place was too weird, with her physical condition she couldn't hold on for too long, and since entering the maze, she had not eaten anything and was now starving.
Fortunately, snakes like to hide in damp places, Freya walked for a while, and grabbed a snake from the vines crawling all over the walls.
But there were no cooking tools here, and she couldn't find a source of fire, she couldn't eat it raw, could she?
During Freya's inner turmoil, she finally remembered the ammunition she had brought with her. Unfortunately, it had fallen into the water and all the ammunition had been ruined. However, she had brought a lot of liquid ammunition as a precaution, which was protected by a glass casing and remained undamaged. Freya tore down some vines from the wall and threw the liquid ammunition out. Because of its powerful force, enough to destroy the area, she jumped into the water with all her might before the ammunition exploded. Several loud rumbling sounds were heard, and the entire underground maze shook violently.
Up in the maze, Belle was fighting alongside Lance and others. After being injured by Bradley's punch, she no longer had the heart to continue the fight. As she prepared to break free, she felt the ground shaking strongly and she stumbled back into the water once again.
Blue Book and others also staggered and retreated unsteadily, and the next second cracks appeared on the ground, with the broken Stones above their heads falling incessantly.
Bradley also rushed over when he heard the sound, and was quite shocked to see this sudden change.
"What happened?"
Blue Book shook his head and said, "I'm not sure, there was a sudden loud explosion underground, like someone threw a bomb."
A bomb?
Bradley frowned heavily, but soon realized something, and a look of excitement appeared on his handsome face.
During the time in the labyrinth, Freya carried a lot of ammunition with her. Although the entire underground labyrinth shook a bit, it was not as intense as the earthquake-like feeling in the Black Abyss Cave.
Could it be Freya's doing?
Realizing this, Bradley immediately lay on the ground to listen carefully to the movements below, the deafening sounds indeed came from underground.
"Blue Book, send someone to search carefully for me, there are secrets beneath the ground."
Thinking that Freya has not died, Bradley's dim heart regained its brightness.
...
The other side.
After the shock subsided, Freya crawled out from under the water in a sorry state.
The liquid ammunition was powerful, but luckily it had absorbed some moisture, which greatly affected its explosive power.
However, her intention was only to ignite and not to destroy this maze.
The fresh vines caught fire, and even the surrounding walls were not spared.
She had originally wanted to roast the snake to eat, but the explosion burnt the whole snake directly.
However, Freya was really starving, and she didn't care that the snake meat was charred, forcing herself to eat it.
If she didn't eat anything, her energy wouldn't recover, and she would eventually starve to death here.
For the next meal, Freya left fires all around to prevent hunger, so she could easily grab something to roast and eat.
After eating and drinking her fill, she leaned back on the ground and pondered for a while.
She remembered the dream she had just had.
A princess?
How could she dream of such a fairy tale story?
Shaking her head, she dismissed this unrealistic fantasy and continued to rest her eyes.
Because it was pitch black here, she had no idea what time it was now, and since she had fallen down like this, Bradley also didn't know what had happened.
Thinking about this, Freya forced herself to open her eyes.
Either way, she had to find a way out of this creepy place.
The black hole was truly eerie; in the dim light before, she hadn't seen anything, but now in the glow of the fire, Freya clearly noticed some strange carvings on the walls.
Upon closer inspection, they were all snake-shaped statues.
No wonder she could easily catch a snake just now; perhaps these dreadful creatures mistook the snake statues on the wall for their own kind.
However, the presence of these statues also served as a reminder to Freya that this dark hole must be hiding many venomous snakes and fierce beasts.
Realizing this, she touched the wolf tooth whistle around her neck.
As long as she had it, the snakes would not dare to approach her.
For now, apart from some minor injuries, she was safe.
Walking forward following the statues on the wall, Freya could not hear any sounds and had to rely on her vision to discover her surroundings.
She walked out of a Stone door, and ahead, there was a faint light.
Just as she lifted her foot to continue forward, a dark shadow suddenly flashed in front of her.
Freya quickly dodged into a corner of the wall, only to find that the shadows were becoming more and more dense, with a count of over ten people.
What's going on?
Who are these people again?
Just as couldn't figure it out, a dense dark shadow was advancing towards her.
