Chapter 960 The Death Date of Belle

While Bradley was on the phone, Freya was by his side, listening to the conversation clearly.

"How many more people does this venomous woman, Belle, have to harm before she will stop?"

Corpses no longer satisfied her appetite; now she was targeting living people.

If this continues, the whole world will be in chaos!

Whether for those around her or for the international situation as a whole, she must stop Belle's dreadful plan!

The two decided to venture into the underground labyrinth again.

Just then, Ella also received the news and walked out of the room, meeting the two at the door.

"Ella, your injuries have just healed, you still need to rest properly; this operation will be led by Bradley and me."

The labyrinth is extremely dangerous, and she was worried Ella might suffer immeasurable harm.

Ella said with great determination, "I'm fine now, and besides, Belle is my mother. The sins she created should be personally settled by me. If she hadn't raised wolves, Belle wouldn't have become the monster she is today. That car accident should have ended Belle's life once and for all, rather than leading to her becoming the creature she is now."

"I'm going with you all too," a deep and gentle male voice came from behind.

As the group turned around slowly, they saw Xavier standing behind them.

Ella squinted fiercely, "You can't."

Freya added, "Yes, Dr. Xavier, your situation is quite special and you are not suitable for going down into the danger with us."

Xavier's internal organs had been severely injured multiple times, and despite the injections given by Hawke, they only provided temporary relief and were not enough to heal the wounds on his body. Therefore, it would not be wise for him to enter the labyrinth at this time.

Xavier came to Ella's side and gently held her small hand with his rough hand. "You can do it, and so can I. We just promised to live and die together not long ago, have you forgotten?"

"That's different!" Ella would not agree to let him follow her. Just a few months ago, she had lost him once, and she couldn't bear to lose him a second time.

"How is it different? Even if I can't protect you, I can take care of myself, so if you're going, then I have to go too!"

With a determined look in his eyes, he squeezed Ella's hand harder to show his resolve.

Bradley, who had been silent for a long time, spoke in a deep voice, "Let him go down!"

"It's not Bradley, it's Dr. Xavier..."

Freya was a little anxious, but before she could finish speaking, Bradley immediately interrupted, "I trust that he will protect himself and nothing will happen to him."

Xavier felt the pain in his heart. He knew that unless he could convince Ella to give up, no one could stop him unless Xavier died.

"No, he can't go down!"

Ella still insists on her own ideas, following Freya for so many years and managing the clinic for her, she has some understanding in medical skills.

The current situation in Xavier is unstable, with the underground maze facing many dangers, she will not let him go down to take risks.

Watching the two argue, Freya looked up at Bradley, wanting to hear his thoughts.

Ella objected to going down, it was not appropriate for them to make decisions for Xavier.

Bradley squeezed Freya's palm and gestured with his eyes towards her, indicating that he would handle the matter.

He then said, "Alright, Ella, I'll have Mr. kane join us, he may be able to help us."

Mr. kane?

Upon hearing this title, Ella was taken aback.

Bradley explained, "I forgot to tell you, when you were injured, we successfully rescued Gordon. He is currently on the same side as us, our ally."

While speaking, Bradley instructed Lance to bring Gordon.

When father and Yara met, thousands of emotions surged in their hearts. Gordon worried about scaring Ella, so he kept wearing a mask. Ella also wore a veil, so they could only see each other's emotions through their eyes.

"Ella?" Gordon spoke first and walked towards Ella.

Tears welled up in Ella's eyes, and a smile appeared under the veil. "Father!"

Father and Yara embraced tightly. Back in Spirit Pavilion, Gordon had always treasured and loved Ella. When Belle arranged rigorous tasks for Ella, Gordon would intercede on Ella's behalf. Ella also held Gordon in high regard, treating him like a father.

Never did Ella expect that the man before her was truly her biological father! "Your face..."

Although Bradley had long mentioned that Ella was injured by the Shadow, he never expected Ella's face to be injured like this.

Ella chuckled lightly, "Just got a bit uglier, no big deal!"

"I will have Hawke restore her face, please rest assured, Mr. kane!"

Xavier walked over and respectfully nodded to Gordon before said, "You are... Xavier?" Gordon was surprised.

Xavier nodded, "Yes, it's me."

Gordon stared at him for a long time. Initially, in the underground maze, he had caught both Juliet and Xavier intending to make them his experimental subjects. But Xavier was rescued by Bradley.

Upon learning Xavier's identity, Gordon was extremely grateful that he had escaped. If he had fallen into his hands as an experimental subject, Xavier might not have survived until now.

He raised his hand and heavily patted Xavier's shoulder before stepping back two steps, bowing deeply to him with a heart full of guilt.

"I'm sorry, it's my fault that caused your suffering. If I hadn't created the vampire bat, you wouldn't have been in such a predicament. As Gordon said this, he clenched his fist tightly and pounded it heavily on his chest. Before his second punch landed, Xavier intervened to stop him from harming himself further. 'There's no need to blame yourself. anyone in such a situation would try to leave themselves an out, so I don't blame you,' he said. Gordon had told Bradley about his ordeal, describing him as a tragic man who had endured many years in an underground labyrinth. His escape from the maze represented a new beginning for him. 'Truly the right-hand man by Leonard's side, you possess exceptional courage and magnanimity. I trust you with Ella,' Gordon said, clenching his fist and meeting Xavier's in a fist bump. He then approached Ella, reassuring him, 'Leave Xavier to me. I will ensure he returns to you unharmed once we leave.' With these words, Ella struggled internally but eventually nodded in agreement. 'Alright, but you must promise me to take care of yourself as well.'"

Gordon smiled with relief, "With a Yara and son-in-law to rely on in my later years, I will be fine!" With this decision made, the group of people descended back into the maze. This was the last time, and also the time for Belle to meet her end!
