Chapter 1000 Wake Up

Bradley watched as Gordon quietly entered the research room, and only then did he arrange for Everything to leave. He understood Gordon's abilities, but in order to be prepared for any unexpected circumstances, he had still arranged for many people to secretly protect him in the laboratory.

Bradley stood on a huge rock, overlooking Everyone from a high vantage point, the scenes of the past battles with Freya vividly resurfacing in his mind. Now, Everyone was at stake, but what about his heart? It still lay in bed, uncertain when it would wake up.

Thinking of Freya, Bradley's heart felt a sharp pain. Just then, his phone rang from his pocket, and he picked it up to glance at it. It was a call from the maid responsible for taking care of Freya's daily life.

"What's the matter?" the man said casually.

"Returned to the country, the country is awake after all!"

"What did you say? She's awake?" Upon hearing this news, Bradley's eyes were instantly filled with joy, even the corners of his mouth curved upwards.

"Now that Freya has woken up, hurry back, leave this to me!" Upon hearing this news, Lucas was also delighted for him.

During these days of tirelessly taking care of Freya and being busy with state affairs, Bradley had lost weight.

Although he was good at concealing his emotions, Lucas knew that he hadn't slept well for the past month. At this rate, he feared that Bradley wouldn't be able to bear it if Freya didn't wake up soon.

"Lance, prepare the helicopter!" Bradley's voice was hoarse from being too excited.

Lance immediately made arrangements, and without any delay, Bradley boarded the plane and rushed to the southern country.

....

Southern country, Baiyu Palace.

Freya slowly opened her long, feather-like eyelashes, looking at the unfamiliar surroundings with a hint of confusion in her eyes.

"Where am I?" She had not spoken for a long time, her voice was slightly hoarse.

The maid respectfully replied, "After returning to the country, this is your and the Lord's sleeping palace. The Lord has going out on business, but we have already contacted the Lord, and he will be back soon."

The Lord?

The Queen?

"Is this the Southern Kingdom?" Freya pinched her brow, having slept for too long, her mind was completely blank when she woke up.

The maid smiled, "Yes, Your Majesty."

"Help me up." Freya tried to move, but found her body weak and powerless, unable to exert any strength.

The maid helped her sit up, and Freya asked, "How long have I been asleep?"

At that time, she only felt a terrible pain, followed by numbness, and then lost consciousness.

During her coma, she had been dreaming all along, just like in the past, all about that glamorous upper-class life.

She also went to the Naihe Bridge and met Meng Po. Perhaps Meng Po felt that she had not dying anything wrong and did not trouble her, so she didn't make her drink the soup. Just as she crossed the Naihe Bridge, she suddenly heard someone calling her. When she turned around, she saw Bradley holding Yara in front of her. At that moment, she ran back without hesitation, just wanting to be with her husband and child. There were many people chasing after her, and she ran desperately, but even though the distance was so close, she could never reach their warmth. She seemed about to be caught from afar, but suddenly a hand grabbed her and they ran together. However, the person was shrouded in darkness, and she couldn't see his face at all. It wasn't until she stepped onto the Naihe Bridge that a light beam shying in, gradually revealing the man's silhouette. Just as she was about to see the man's face clearly, she suddenly heard someone calling her, and she woke up. "You've been unconscious for over a month," the maid said. Freya furrowed her brows slightly, realizing she had slept for so long.

Slowly stepping down, Freya's whole body felt a bit floaty. The maid, seeing her condition, tried to support her but was stopped. "You don't need to follow me, I just want to go out for a walk."

Having slept for too long, waking up felt like a different world. She needed to adapt to this bright world properly.

The maid was still worried and followed behind her.

As she stepped out of the bedroom, piercing gazes shot towards her. Feeling a bit dizzy and uncomfortable, she instinctively raised her hand to shield her eyes.

After slowly adjusting to the light, she lifted her head to embrace the sunlight.

A maid held a parasol over her head. Freya smiled at her and said, "I'm not that delicate, you don't have to constantly watch over me."

"But Your Highness just woke up, we're worried you won't adapt." The maid confessed.

Freya curved her lips, left the umbrella, and strolled through the luxurious palace.

She had heard from Bradley that he had ordered the reconstruction of the royal palace. If she guessed correctly, it should have been completed a month ago.

As she wandered through the corridor, Freya unexpectedly caught whiffs of a pleasant fragrance and couldn't help but ask, "Where is this fragrance coming from?"

The maid pointed ahead and said, "There is a cherry blossom garden here, and all the cherry blossoms are in full bloom this season. The fragrance is coming from the cherry blossom garden." Freya nodded and walked in the direction the maid was pointing. Soon, she arrived at the cherry blossom garden. In front of her eyes was a large expanse of soft pink. Freya strolled in, with the romantic and fragrant scent rushing past her nose, dissipating all her suppressed emotions. Freya stood under a cherry blossom tree, tilting her head slightly with closed eyes, dressed in a pink nightgown, looking like an elf lost in the midst of it. "Do you like it?" Just then, a warm and rich male voice sounded from behind her. Freya's heart trembled at the sound, and as she was about to turn around, a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind. The next moment, the man's chin rested on her slender shoulders. Freya's body trembled slightly, her eyes quickly filling with tears, filled with joy at the thought of meeting him again. She suddenly turned and threw herself into the man's arms, holding him tightly. "I heard it, I heard Everyone."

The man's words whispered in her ear were clear to her. She wanted to respond, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't open her eyes. It was because of his words that she realized her life didn't belong to just ying person, so even if she tried with all her might, she couldn't die. "Since you know you made me worry, repay me with a lifetime." The joy of regaining what was lost filled the man's chest, lifting her chin and lowering his handsome face to kiss her. Cherry blossom petals fell like a beautiful rain. Pink petals landed on their hair and shoulders, accompanied by a cool breeze and the sound of leaves rustling around them. After the kiss, their noses brushed together. Bradley lovingly traced her delicate features, as if protecting something beloved. "Let's go, I'll take you around." After a while, he spoke, lightly resting his hand on Freya's hand, finally intertwining their fingers.
