Chapter 1008 For her

Matthew blinked her big eyes, like black grapes, and said with a smile, "School is so much fun. Not only are there many children, but also many toys and places to play. Matthew loves going to school the most."

Freya sat with Matthew on her lap, listening to him talk about the interesting things at school, and she became more convinced that her initial persistence was right.

Children also need their own social circle. For Matthew, kindergarten is the perfect place for him to be carefree.

"My classmates heard that I have a little sister and they all want to come and see," Matthew said proudly, then jumped off Freya and picked up a toy drum to play with Yara.

Yara, with her eyes wide open, seemed to be listening to the conversation between the two, her eyes shining.

As Matthew played with her happily, she giggled.

Freya watched this harmonious scene and smiled faintly.

This kind of peaceful and happy life is a blessing. It wouldn't be in vain if it could last a lifetime.

"When Matthew's birthday comes, we can invite his friends to come play at our house," Freya said gently.

Full but at this moment stopped shaking the drum, feeling a bit awkward, "But mommy, we live in the palace, and the other kids don't know my identity."

In order for Full to be the same as the other kids, Bradley deliberately concealed Full's identity, so even the principal did not know whose child Full was.

Freya smiled, "That's easy, we can have the birthday banquet outside, so no ying will know that Full is a little prince."

Full blinked and kissed Freya, "Mommy is so smart!"

As the two chatted, Bradley arrived at the dungeon.

In addition to the bodyguard who was assassinated, there was another escaped person, a total of ten people locked in the dungeon.

Lance had been rigorously interrogating them, and these people were all hired and did not know the identity of the mastermind behind it. However, there was a bodyguard who seemed to be the leader, but he had not spoken since the interrogation started.

When Bradley arrived, Lance was interrogating this bodyguard.

The man was covered in tattoos, muscular, and seemed to be a skilled fighter.

He signaled for Lance to step aside, Bradley walked forward to personally interrogate him.

"I want to die here, or leave peacefully from here. You choose between the two paths." This seemingly light-hearted sentence carries a daunting oppressive force, leaving people trembling upon hearing it.

The bodyguard sneered at Bradley and said, "If you want to kill or torture, make it painful. I'm not in the mood to chat with you."

"Insolent!" Lance angrily scolded, about to step forward to teach the other party a lesson, but was stopped by Bradley with a wave of his hand.

"Let him continue speaking."

Bradley played with the ring on his ring finger, his demeanor light and airy, making it difficult to figure out what he was thinking.

The bodyguard narrowed his eyes warily at Bradley, as if trying to read the other's mind.

"Speak, why aren't you speaking?" Seeing the other party just looking at him without saying anything, Bradley lazily raised his eyes to meet his gaze.

Perhaps the oppressive aura around him was too strong, as the bodyguard eventually averted his gaze.

"Don't waste your efforts, we're just acting on behalf of others with their money, we don't know anything."

"Oh really?" After Bradley finished speaking, he suddenly stood up from his seat, put on gloves, and held a silver gun aiming at the bodyguard. "I'll give you a quick way out, choose where you want to be shot."

The bodyguard clenched his fists, but he couldn't stop trembling all over.

Bradley saw Everyone in his eyes and smirked, "Let me guess, you are from the Saint Rock Country."

Before he could finish speaking, he saw the bodyguard's eyes suddenly turned ugly.

He asked urgently, "How did you know?"

Bradley raised an eyebrow and smiled faintly, "I also know that you came to the Southern Country this time for the King's Ring."

At this point, the bodyguard could no longer hold back, with a look of horror in his eyes.

Although he didn't speak, Bradley already knew the answer from his expression, confirming that all his guesses were correct.

These people were sent here to take the King's Ring by someone's order.

In other words, the matter of the King's Ring on Freya had already been exposed.

Those who coveted the throne of Saint Rock Country would soon take action, and today's assassination attempt on Freya was just the tip of the iceberg. Such incidents may occur frequently in the future.

Bradley's eyes turned cold, holding the gun pointed at the bodyguard's forehead, he whispered, "Speak, who is the mastermind behind you?"

The gun was already loaded, just a light pull of the trigger would surely end the other's life.

The bodyguard was so scared that he was sweating profusely, large drops of sweat rolling down his face. In the next moment, he hurriedly pleaded, "Lord of the Southern Country, please spare my life. I will talk, I will tell you Everyone."

Upon hearing this, Bradley holstered his gun, sat back in his chair lazily.

Trembling, the bodyguard said, "It's the Earl's orders. He instructed us to retrieve the King's Ring at all costs."

Earl?

Bradley furrowed his brow deeply. Although he was not very familiar with Everyone in the Holy Stone Country, he knew that this Earlvwas a key figure in the country, having supported several queens to the throne in the past.

But now, for the King's Ring, he was willing to take such risks and infiltrate the Southern Country, showing a great ambition.

"How many of you are there?" Bradley asked again.

The bodyguard replied truthfully, "Apart from the ten people captured by the Lord of the Southern Country, one person died, one escaped, so there are only about a dozen people left."

Bradley gave Lance a glance, and quickly Lance brought the computer over. Bradley opened it and faced the bodyguard directly, saying coldly, "So, who is this noblewoman and what is her identity?"

The bodyguard looked carefully and then said, "She is a person by the side of Viscount, deeply loved by the Viscount. It is said that their relationship is unusual, and the Viscount intends to give her a formal status."

Bradley looked at Lance again, indicating for him to investigate further.

"Master of the Southern Nation, I have told you Everyone I know. Please spare me, I am willing to pledge lifelong loyalty to the Southern Nation." The bodyguard lowered his head, humbling himself.

Bradley narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing him deeply, pondered for a moment, then spoke, "I will give you a chance to make amends."

Since the other party's target was Freya, it was better to outwit them and catch them off guard.

Even though Viscount had great ambitions, he did not have the courage to act recklessly within the territory of the Southern Nation. Therefore, Bradley suspected that behind Viscount, there must be someone else manipulating Everyone in the shadows.

As for who that might be, it would depend on the help of this bodyguard.

"Please give your orders, Master of the Southern Nation. I will do my utmost to fulfill them." After being untied, the bodyguard knelt respectfully before Bradley.

A glint of sharpness flashed through Bradley's narrowed, icy black eyes, then he gestured for the bodyguard to leave. "You are injured, go rest for now. As for what to do next, I will personally instruct you."

"Yes."

The bodyguard nodded.

Bradley signaled for Lance to take the people away, then sat alone in silence for a moment before pulling out his phone to make a call.

"Nan Xavier, settle your affairs and hurry to the south."
