Chapter 1026 Falling Ill

Madeline breathed a sigh of relief, went forward to help Freya wipe her sweat, then tucked her in, and expressed gratitude towards him, "Dr. Sean has been running back and forth and must be tired. You should go rest first."

"No rush." he surveyed the surroundings, walked towards Freya's personal belongings, and said, "Besides food, the issue might also be with daily items."

He picked up Freya's diapers and examined them carefully, followed by her clothes and toiletries.

He didn't leave anything unchecked.

Of course, he took samples of Everyone to examine, preparing to extract the ingredients and check if there were any issues with these daily items.

He didn't rest either, he directly went to the medical room, entered the laboratory, and got busy.

If Freya had an issue, it meant that someone in the palace was up to mischief.

Patrick immediately thought of Ran, informed Madeline, and personally went to keep an eye on him.

As for Madeline staying behind to accompany Freya, for safety reasons, the milk powder was also replaced with a new one, and even the personal belongings were all disinfected and sterilized.

Far away in the country, Freya did not know about Yara's condition.

After obtaining the antidote, Freya immediately fed it to her master. After waiting for an hour, she checked her master's pulse again and found that the restless and erratic heart rate was gradually calming down.

It seems the antidote is taking effect.

"Master, take a nap. When you wake up, tell me how you feel," Freya instructed.

Queen Sally nodded, "You have worked hard during this period. When the master recovers, it will be the end for those people!" Speaking of this, a look of hatred appeared in Queen Sally's eyes.

Throughout her life, she has been upright and honest, never engaging in activities that harm others.

She treated those around her as family, even when Lady repeatedly tried to harm her, she turned a blind eye. Who would have thought that she would be so unrestrained and dare to bribe Silver to harm herself.

Unforgivable!

"Alright, no matter what the master decides to do, I will be here!" Freya smiled, packed up the medicine box, and stood up. "I will leave now, and I will have the white fox come in later to take care of you."

"Go ahead," Queen Sally waved her hand.

After Freya left, she returned to her own room and lazily lay on the bed, not wanting to do anything.

However, her mind was incredibly alert.

Calculating the time, Count Silver should be feeling the effects of the poison.

If she wasn't mistaken, within half an hour, people from the Count's manor would definitely come knocking at the door.

During the wait, Freya sent a text message to Bradley.

"Husband, what are you doing?"

After the message was sent successfully, she didn't receive a reply. Freya thought the man must be busy, so she didn't want to disturb him.

After some consideration, she decided to take a nap, and after recharging, she would have the energy to negotiate terms with Count Silver.

Just as she closed her eyes, a knocking sound came from outside, "Is Doctor Jane here? someone from the Count's mansion is requesting your presence." Freya opened her eyes, never expecting things to happen so quickly. "I'm coming!" she responded, getting out of bed and quickly tidying up before opening the bedside cabinet to take out a specially prepared needle kit.

The toFreyas in Count Silver's body were all caused by a beastly venom, which had undergoing multiple mutations and developed a serious dependency. In other words, to control the toxicity, it was just like taking drugs - ying had to take medication once.

Leaving the room, Freya got into the Count's mansion's car and rushed to the mansion immediately. Just as she stepped through the front gate, she heard painful roars from inside, as well as the crashing sound of heavy objects falling to the ground. It seemed that when the toxicity flared up, no one could control it.

"When did your Lord Earl fall ill?" Freya turned to look at the leading guard.

The guard respectfully replied, "It's been about an hour. The doctor came to give the Lord a shot but there was no improvement. The Earl is in great pain, so he sent me to fetch Doctor Jane."

Freya nodded, "Alright, get a few guards with good skills to come over. We need to control the Earl so I can perform acupuncture on him later."

Dealing with a madman, especially a skilled one like the Earl, Freya didn't want to confront him directly.

"Understood."

The guard quickly called a few others over, and together they followed Freya into the hall.

The place was a mess, with Everyone that could be thrown or smashed, having been destroyed.

Freya couldn't even find a place to stand, so he just stood at the doorway and watched the madness unfold.

Previously, when Bradley was injected with poison, he went mad and only wanted to shed blood, his eyes glowing red with uncontrollable emotions.

Looking at the Earl of Silver now, the situation was quite similar, but his suffering seemed to be multiplied several times. Apart from smashing things, he also engaged in self-harming actions.

Freya was really worried that the person had been killed, so he quickly ordered the guards to step forward and restrain him. After all, dealing with Lady still relied on Count Silver. If something bad happened, the whole show would not look good.

Just as the guard approached, Count Silver suddenly charged forward like a fierce beast, seizing the guard by the neck and hoisting him overhead, then throwing him out forcefully. The guard immediately spat out blood from the impact. The smell of blood permeated the air, and the redness in Count Silver's eyes deepened, as if blood would overflow.

Approaching again, he lifted the guard up. Just when Freya thought he would tear the guard apart, she saw him lowering his face and licking the bloodstains on the guard's face. This insane behavior reminded Freya of vampires from ancient times. If Count Silver grew two fangs, he would undoubtedly be no different from a vampire.

The guard trembled in fear at his actions, "My Lord Count, spare... spare me!"

With a snarl, Count Silver became even more frenzied, fiercely biting down on his neck.

"Ah!"

The guard's scream rang out.

Freya was truly worried that someone would end up dead. She shot out a silver needle, hitting Silver's arm with precision.

His gaze gradually shifted to Freya, and after releasing the guard who was gasping for breath, he crazily approached Freya.

Freya narrowed her eyes fiercely. If she didn't control Silver soon, she wouldn't be able to suppress the poison for him at all.

Watching Silver approach, Freya shot out several silver needles, but Silver managed to dodge this time.

His body even bulged with blue veins, resembling a wild beast.

It seemed that the beastly venom, after undergoing modification, had become far more potent than before.

"Your Excellency, please calm down first. I can help relieve your pain!" Freya stepped back step by step.

The frenzied force of a madman is fierce, and to confront him head-on at this moment will only end in defeat.

But Silver has already lost control, unable to hear her voice at all.

At this point, he only wants to draw blood, tearing apart the delicate girl in front of him into mincemeat.

He closed his eyes, took a whiff of the smell of blood, and when he opened them, there was a faint red glow in his eyes, quickly lunging towards Freya.

Freya quickly retaliated.

Being bitten by such a poinsoned person, or coming into contact with the tainted blood on his body, will also be infected with the venom.
