Chapter 1135 Putting Her First in Everything

Freya took the suit and hung it up, then brought him a pair of comfortable cotton slippers.

"I'm fine!"

She really looked like a gentle and virtuous housewife, cooking at home every day and waiting for her husband to come back, having dinner with him, and then going for a walk hand in hand after the meal. The days were ordinary but pleasant.

Bradley just stared at her blankly. Although they had only been apart for a few hours, it felt like a lifetime had passed.

He slowly reached out his hand and placed it on the top of her head, saying in a hoarse voice, "You're very different today."

Freya looked up at him and smiled cheerfully. "In what way?"

"You're very gentle and considerate, and it makes me feel very happy," Bradley said.

The curve of Freya's lips grew wider. Suddenly, she propped herself up, poked his tall nose with her finger, and winked playfully at him. "Are you touched by just a little bit of my tenderness? Then I've prepared other surprises for you. Will you cry later?"

The girl's smiling face was like the first peach blossom blooming in spring, charming and beautiful, and it deeply engraved itself into the man's heart.

Bradley was a bit excited. He stared at her blankly, lifted her chin with his finger, and leaned in with his handsome face.

"What a special day it is today that makes you in such a good mood."

His voice was as beautiful as the sound of a cello, and Freya's heart trembled again and again.

She grabbed the collar of his shirt, the corners of her mouth curved into a charming smile, and then she pouted and snorted. "Do I have to have something good happen to be in a good mood? Honey, I'm trying to get used to the life of a good wife and a loving mother in advance. Aren't you happy about that?"

The word "honey" in her soft and waxy voice made Bradley's heart almost melt.

He hugged her tightly in his arms, as if he wanted to pour all his tenderness for a lifetime into her.

"If you can think like that, of course I'm happy."

Freya was hugged so tightly that she could hardly breathe. She complained a bit uncomfortably, "Okay, it's time to eat. The food is going to get cold."

She had started preparing the meal early in the afternoon, and the dishes she made were Bradley's favorites.

But since she hadn't cooked for a long time, her cooking skills were not as proficient as before. She even got several blisters from the oil when stir-frying.

However, she had already dealt with them, and Bradley couldn't tell at all.

The man took her hand and led her to the dining room. At a glance, he found the dishes very familiar. Among them was a plate of Chinese yam with blueberries, which made the man's memory involuntarily go back to the Royal Garden Mansion when Freya had just arrived.

Because his spleen and stomach were not in good condition, Freya had made all kinds of medicinal meals to regulate his body.

He still remembered that he didn't like Chinese yam at that time, but this little woman's dish of Chinese yam with blueberries made him gradually fall in love with the dense texture of the yam.

So far, Chinese yam had become one of his favorite dishes.

Noticing that he was in a daze, Freya quickly pulled out the dining chair for him and motioned for him to sit down.

"This Chinese yam with blueberries was really troublesome to make. I'll allow you to finish it all tonight."

Before, she was worried that the man would get tired of the dishes she made. So every time he ate a few more bites of a certain dish, she would keep it in mind and make it again every few days, but she would control the portion.

After all, if you eat the same thing for a long time, you will get tired of it. Eating it in moderation and leaving a little aftertaste can keep you longing for it.

"I promise to clean the plate." After saying that, the man picked up the cutlery and began to enjoy the loving dinner.

Freya sat opposite him, resting her chin on her hands and staring at him as he ate.

It had to be said that this man was naturally elegant, and even his way of eating was so charming.

Coupled with his good cultivation and temperament, he looked like a beautiful scenery line just by sitting there. Sometimes Freya thought that watching him eat was really a pleasant thing.

Bradley had just scooped a spoonful of Chinese yam with blueberries when he saw the little woman staring at him without any intention of picking up her chopsticks. The corners of his thin lips raised into a proud arc.

"Is your husband so good-looking that you can't take your eyes off me and are even drooling?"

Hearing this, Freya quickly reached out and touched the corner of her mouth, but there was nothing there.

Realizing that she had been fooled by the man, she said coquettishly, "Okay, you actually tricked me. I won't cook for you anymore."

Bradley laughed happily. "Okay, if you don't cook, I'll cook for you in the future."

After saying that, he put the spoonful of Chinese yam with blueberries into his mouth.

The dense, sweet and sour taste was still the same as before. He didn't know if it was because he hadn't eaten it for a long time or it was really too delicious. After taking one bite, he took another.

Freya still maintained the same posture. The more she looked at the man's way of eating, the more she thought it was charming.

Bradley just let her look at him. He was her husband, and she could look at him however she wanted.

Halfway through the meal, he held the spoon out to Freya, motioning for her to open her mouth. "You should try it too. It's really delicious."

Freya obediently opened her mouth and accepted his feeding.

When Bradley saw that she had eaten it, he picked up other dishes and fed them to her, and Freya ate them all.

"Honey, do you know that the boxing match has been advanced?"

That's right, the reason why she was being so attentive tonight was because of the boxing match.

Anyway, she felt a bit guilty about hiding the fact that she was Wuming.

So she prepared this table of familiar dishes to show her apology.

Bradley's hand holding the chopsticks paused, and he nodded. "Yes, I just received the news. It seems that it has indeed been advanced. But it's okay. Blue Book has already taken care of the tickets. We can just fly there the day after tomorrow."

Freya pursed her lips, and her gaze towards the man changed.

Sure enough, he was her husband. No matter what, he would always put her first.

This made Freya feel even more guilty towards him.

So she took the initiative to pick up the chopsticks and pick some food for him. "I simmered this braised pork for a full two hours. It melts in your mouth. Try it."

Bradley opened his mouth, and Freya fed the meat into his mouth.

The man immediately gave her a thumbs-up and praised without hesitation, "The food cooked by my wife is still the best."

"You're such a flatterer!"

Although she said that, Freya's heart was extremely sweet.

Bradley indeed kept his promise and finished the Chinese yam with blueberries.

Seeing his expression of wanting more, Freya smiled helplessly. "Come on, your wife will take you out for a walk to help with digestion."

The two of them held hands and went for a walk in the backyard.

The moon was very round tonight, and the moonlight poured down like a thin veil, making Freya's face look even whiter.

The two of them didn't speak, just quietly enjoying the peaceful and beautiful night view.

They sat down back to back on the grass in front. Freya leaned all her weight on the man and asked softly, "Honey, after everything is settled, shall we live like this every day?"
