“Who's my favorite writer of all time?” Sera’s excited voice buzzed through my phone, and I rolled my eyes at her enthusiasm.

“I don't know, Sera. I am?” I smiled, answering tentatively.

Sera was unusually excited this morning. She’d called while I was in the bathroom, and when I saw her call, I’d thought I was in trouble for writing too much smut.
