The moment he uttered those words I got out of words. I didn't know what to say and how to react. But, somehow I was clear that he wasn't interested in anything but my safety.

I was nervous but suddenly a thought kicked my mind. Why was I nervous? I shouldn't be. He was my husband and if everything was normal, I wouldn't be that nervous. I shouldn't be that afraid.
