It's Sunday and I'm helping my mom in the kitchen.I was cutting up the vegetables while she mix the ingredients for her pie.Casey and Sidney are having dinner with us,they will be coming soon.

"So how's your relationship with Casey?".mom ask.

"What do you mean?"i ask.

"Like are you guys friends or more than friends".

"Just friends,nothing more why?".

"Nothing,why don't you ask him out?".She ask and I sighed.

"I'm not gay,why do you want me to be with him so badly?".

"Coz,I've always wanted a gay son".she smile.

"No surprise there".i roll my eyes.

"And you say you aren't gay but your mind is".i stop cutting.

"What do you mean?".

"Have you seen your baby pictures".

"Some,the ones you showed me".

"You have a box of your baby stuff in the basement,your princess backpack,your pink Barbie blouse,blue and pink brush and the night light I bought you,your father bought a batman one but you cried that you wanted a hello kitty until I bought it".

"I was a baby".i pointed out

"You were 8".

"Well I don't remember".

"Get the baking tin for me,I'm just saying you should leave that apple girl and be with Casey.Its obvious you like him.I never really liked Apple".i handed her the tin.

"I did leave Apple but I'm not with Casey,I tried to tell him that I liked him yesterday but he didn't get it".

"you have to understand that he haven't had many experience to the world,try watching a romance movie with him".

The door bell rang and I wash my hands and went to the door.I opened it to see Sidney and I frowning Casey.

"Hi Malik,how are you?".Sidney ask and I step aside for them to come in.

"I'm good but looks like someone is a little upset".i look at Casey who walked past us.

"He's fine just not in a good mood".

"Oh okay".

We walked into the kitchen where my mom was pouring her ingredients into the baking tin.

"Hey Sidney just in time,I'm starting my chocolate cake next".

"Oh I wanna help".Sidney said and dance over to my mom and they both laugh.

I smile and went into the living room where Casey was switching through the channels.I sat beside him and he look at me but turn back to the tv.

"What is like?".he ask looking at the tv.

"What?".i ask when he looked at me.

"To hear,what is like to hear,I don member".he turn to me with tears filled eyes."I can not know someone talkin til I see them.I can not know the rado on til I touch it,all I hear is silence,fuckin silence".

I stared at him in shock,my heart ache but the shock feeling came first.He just swear and he didn't even seem to mind,I minded though.

"You can not try to explain coz I won't catch so much words so just let it go".He huff and got up.

I followed behind him and he went through the back door,laying in the grass in the huge back yard.I laid Beside him and turn to  face him.

"What do you sound like?".

I waited till he was looking at me before I answer.

"I sound like......".i can't compare myself with anything before he haven't heard what anything else sound like.Now I know how he feels.

I decided that the only thing I could do is lean over and kiss him and that is what I did.I press my lips to him,he gasp at the sudden action and I slip my to tongue in,tangling mine with his.I went on top of him careful not to crush him with my weight.He didn't know what to do so I lead him moving my tongue with his.His hands found my neck and pulled me down more into the kiss.I nibbled on his bottom lip he move his left feet and it rub against my member which made me moan.I started to rub against him and he let out the sexiest sound ever.It made me want to go further but I stopped.I pulled away because it's what's best for both of us .

I looked down at him and he looked so beautiful,his eyes bright and sparkling his lips swollen and slightly open for him to catch his breath.I got off him and he sat up with me.I pulled him into my lap and kiss his forehead then made him look up at me.

"I like you".i said

"Why?why would you l....like me,I am deaf,a freak,I can not understand most thing and-".i shut him up with a kiss.

"I don't care,you're not a freak,I don't care if you can't hear I like you for you".i said slowly when I broke the kiss.He smile and nod.

"Boys dinner!".my mom called.

I stood up and pulled Casey up and we walked in the kitchen.

Casey went over to his mom and started signing,Sidney them smile at me.

"You like Casey?".she ask smiling.

"Uh yea".i said shyly.

"Finally". mom exclaim

Sidney signed to Casey again and he ran out to the bathroom down the hall.I went up to my room to change my shirt and wash up.

"So you're together?".Dale ask as we walk down the hall.

"No we just......I already told you".i huff.

Casey,Dale and I were walking to class.Casey holding unto my arm while Dale and I talked.I told him that I  liked him and about the kiss.I also told my mom when Sidney and Casey left and she was going crazy.As we were walking down the hall Apple came out of no where in front of me with her followers.

"So you left me for this freak?!".she yelled gesturing to Casey.

"Apple just go away,doesn't matter who I left you for". I sighed.

The death glares Dale was giving people they minded their own business.

"What I can't speak my mind?,you have distance yourself from me since this came,are you gay Malik? because I'm pretty sure you're not so why don't you let go of this mistake and we can get out of here".She ran her hand down my arm,peeling off Casey when he reached him and her other down her body.

All I wanted to do right now was punch her square in the face,she'll know to leave me alone.

"You can't hit a girl ".Dale whispered knowing what I was thinking.

"Listen bitch he doesn't like you.You mean nothing to him and never will no one wants you and your body.Now you can get out of here by your self......feel free to take those things with you".Dale hiss looking at Apple's followers who gasp along with Apple.

"And I'm pretty sure you're the mistake since you're hardly noticed by people".We all look at one of Apple's followers,Alice who turn to Apple

"Whatever really liked you.I just wanted to be popular and I'm now".The girl flip her hair and walked off.

"Wait for us".Kayla said and ran after her,in their feels.

Apple stood there,wide eyes and arms cross."they'll be back".

"Bye bitch".i said before taking Casey's hand and walking away leaving her to deal with the crowd.

The went by fast with the same boring classes.We were at lunch now.Dale and the group talking about football season while I talk on paper with Casey,he doesn't like signing to people apart from his mom because he feels weird.He has gotten better with talking since he started talking a lot.We had a free session before lunch and we were talking so I know.He can't pronounce his words right though.

'Your friend is staring at us' Casey wrote.I glance around the table and my friend Alex was staring at us.

"What?".i ask making everyone else look at me.

"What the he'll are you doing?".he ask.

"How does it concern you?".i shot back glaring at him.

"Well that's not like you to be having a conversation on paper so I'm concern".

"Mind your own business Alex".Dale sighed.

He shook his head and went back to talking while I continue with Casey who gave me a concern look.

'Don't worry about it'.

'Okay'.

'Want to watch a movie with me later?'.

'I would love to,what time should I be over?'.his English was good on paper.

'Anytime'.

'Okay mommy is going to work at 7'.

'Great'.

"Attention students,P.T.A meeting this evening".

The principal said on the intercom.
