I woke up because of the light hitting my cheek. I blinked and realized I was in the hospital.

I felt the bandage wrapped around my head.

"Sir Drake..." I said softly and searched for his bulk all over the room but he wasn't there. I wanted to stand up to look for him but I had a hard time getting up.
