NATHAN

My eyes flutter open and I immediately wish I had kept them close. The bright light streams into my eyes causing momentarily blindness as my head swims in dizziness.

'Emily?" I call out

'Oh my god Nathan you're awake! "Mom screams and burst into tears.

'Mom." I manage to call out, my throat feeling like sandpaper.

'Yes Nathan, I'm here" She grabs my hand and kisses it, her tears falling into my

palm.

'Where am I?"
