She must have slept off because she was shaken awake by someone. She looked up to find Edgar watching her with concern. Her insides warmed up.

"Are you alright?" He asked softly after dropping a light kiss on her forehead

"Urm...yeah just tired and hungry I guess" She replied lowly.

"Come...I already set the table. Let's eat'

They ate the food in silence. All that could be heard was the chatter of cutlery and plates.
