I know how stubborn my son can be. I just hope that his just wedded wife will be able to stand up to him and not let him maltreat her.

I was determined to make the female feel comfortable and capture his heart. Looking at Cheng, I knew she was going to be a good girl.

Longwei has a destiny to fulfill and I'm sure that with that girl beside him, things wouldn't be so hard. I didn't know why I was sure about this but this assurance kept coming to me.

Although I had promised myself not to do what my parents did to me to my son because I was forced to marry Gui Jinhai and now I also forced my son to marry who he doesn't will.

Well mine was still better off my parents reason. I am doing this for the fulfilment of the prophecy but my parents did it for money and luxuries.

I know I will feel guilty if Longwei Shen didn't treat his wife well but then everyone has a price to pay. Mine is guilt.

I laid on my bed hoping the poor girl was fine.

Longwei

I didn't have a good dream at all. The dram was that right on the chair, my newly wedded wife died there and there was war between the werewolf kingdom and the witch kingdom.

It was so great that it didn't affect the supernatural alone. It also affected the humans. Everyone died and a voice came to me and said:

"Longwei Shen, you failed me!"

The voice was so powerful that it shook me awake. My body still viberated that I didn't know what to do.

Then I remembered that I had someone else in my room. I looked at her direction and saw her folded on the chair. The fireplace was already dark because the wood in it has burnt to ashes.

I rushed down and went to her. My mind was that she had died. I was so scared because the dream was very scary.

As I wanted to touch her, she moved and that alone have me slight relief. Then she stood up and looked at me.

"Alpha" she called and stood up.

"Arghrrrr" she cried softly.

I know it was definitely caused by the pains in her bones. She couldn't stand up well. I wanted to go help her but my pride wouldn't let me. I just watched her as she tried to stand up.

She looked at me wondering what I was trying to do to her but I just walked to my closet and left the room. I definitely know that she must have thought that I want to kill her.

Chen

I was so restless all through the night but when I finally slept, I had a very bad dream.

I found myself beside Longwei and when he saw me, he started to hit me hard, telling me he was going to kill me. I couldn't escape because it looked like he already caged me.

That was what woke me up and to my shock, I found the Alpha standing before me. My spirit almost flew away.

I tried to stand up quickly so as to stay away from him but then, the pain on my body wouldn't let me. It was too painful that I couldn't help but to cry.

But more than the pain, I feared for my life. I didn't know why he was standing before me.

"Is this man trying to kill me?" I thought in my head.

I was looking at him waiting for what he would do but he just walked to his closet and walked away. I breathe out in relief.

"Chen, your death is not today" I said to myself.

I was still feeling sleep but I was too afraid to sleep. I didn't know if he would come back to finish what he started.

I went to the bathroom and went to sit inside the bathtub. Well we are in the advanced stage were we now have water heater.

The werewolves are more advanced than we witches in everything that's why they always thing themselves to be more superior to the witches that are always around them.

I'm not surprised at the Alpha King's pride, I always knew the werewolves to be proud species. They always thing that they are superior to others because they have high assimilation and they can think wide.

I have always heard of Daye pack and the beauty of the pack. Month ago, I would have loved to be here but now that I had to marry the Alpha King, I'm not so thrilled. I just wanted to go home.

In the bathroom of the Alpha King, there are lot of things that is in there that we don't have in our own Kingdom. In fact I've never seen them before and I was fascinated by them.

After enjoying the water, it was still not morning so I didn't know when I slept off, inside the bathtub.

Not until I started hearing someone call my name with panick, that I opened my eyes and realised that I had slept off in the bathtub.

"You got me scared Chen" I heard a feminine voice.

I wondered who cared so much about me like that. I'm sure it's definitely not my family and my maid doesn't sound that way.

I looked at the one who called me and I saw that it was the Alpha King's mother. She was really worried because it showed in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I slept off while bathing" I said to her.

I stood up from the water and she used a towel to wrap my body.

"How long have you been sleeping in that bathtub?" She asked me.

" Well the bathtub is more comfortable than the chair I slept on last night" I said in my heart.

I wish I could tell the Alpha King's mother but i know that I will be calling more torture upon myself.

"I don't know. I only want to bath" I replied.

The Alpha King's mother took me to the bed and made me sit down.

"How was your night? Hope he didn't give you any trouble?" She asked with both concern and curiosity.

"My night was the worse I have ever had in my life. I don't wish to repeat it."

That was what I wish I could tell her but I didn't. The coward me couldn't bring myself to tell her. Moreover I just got married and I don't want me coming into this place to start making family fight each other. It will further proof that I'm not a good idea to them.

"My night was good. Although he didn't talk to me but he didn't give me trouble" I replied.

I didn't fail to remember that he was planning to kill me. But then that would be the last because today I will move to another room.

"Good. I was scared all through the night" she said.

She was using another towel to dry my hair before she brought the hair dryer to dry it. I tried collecting it from her but she wouldn't allow me.

"I had wish I have a female daughter to do this with. So from now on just see me as your mother" she said with a smile.

With the way she was doing, it showed that she was happy with me but then she had a very bad son. Just wish I'm her real daughter. I smiled at her but said nothing.

I got dressed and the Alpha's mother took me outside for breakfast. I wish to sleep more but what can I do? I don't want them to think me as a lazy one so I just followed tiredly.

When I got down, I discovered that my families were still there.

"Why come down so late? Do you want them to think we are some lazy one here?" Jie said firmly.

I ignored Jie because I know who she is. I gesticulated and greeted the Queen and the others seated.

"Don't scold her. She's just too tired from yesterday's tossing" the Alpha King's mother said with a teasing smile.

This made me shy even though her words were not true. I was stored from sleeping on a position.

We sat down to eat and having discussion or let me say Jie was just asking after the Alpha King. This didn't even bother me. I would have gladly swap places with her if I was allowed to.

After a while, everyone left except for Jie. She had claimed that she wanted to stay to see if they would take care of me.

"It's just for a month and I'll leave" she had said.

Those that heard her will think that she cared about me but they wouldn't know that all she wanted was to get close to the Alpha King. Well that didn't disturb me. The man doesn't even like me at all.

"Please where is my room, I'm feeling sleepy?" I whispered to the Alpha King's mother's ear.

She gave me a weak smile.

"You can't have a room to yourself for now. We can't let your sister think we don't care about you and report to your family. Just go to Longwei's room" she said.

This was like me experiencing an horrific thing. I dragged the woman to a corner.

"Don't tell me I'm going to stay in his room till Jie leaves?"

I felt like to shout because I can imagine sleeping on a chair for a month and staying with that angry beast also. It's suicide to me.

"You will have to my darling" she said calmly.

I shook my head.

" I won't do that. It's torture" I couldn't help but raise my voice.

The woman took my hand and looked at me pitifully.

"I know Longwei wasn't at his best behavior yesterday but I promise you he'll be nicer today" she said softly.

I wish her words were true. I just looked at her with sad looks.

"Come let's get you rested" she said.

We both went back to the room I least thought I would return to. I had thought that yesterday was the last night I will step my foot in this room but here am I back again.

I look at the bed that contained that large man and I sighed. I don't know if I'm signing my suicide myself. I was so reluctant to sleep on the bed. I do not want trouble. I just wanted to sleep.

When I laid down and closed my eyes the Alpha King's mother patted my head and left after she covered me with a quilt.

Immediately she closed the door behind her, I opened my eyes. I was so reluctant to close my eyes again because I don't know when the raging Lion will come for me.
