LUCAS POV

The drive to the hotel was a quiet one. I knew she was mad, confused and angry. I could literally see smoke leaving her head. I wanted to explain everything to her but she was fuming and nothing I say right now would make any sense to her.

I kept stealing glances at her to see if I could catch her eye but she kept her gaze outside.

"Sophia?"

She did not respond.

I placed my hand on her knee and looked over to her.
