"You can go back to the living room." Dad said thirty-five minutes after we have entered the kitchen. "I can do the rest by myself."

"Let's do it together." I replied, not wanting to go back to the living room now and be idle or listen to the guys talk. I love being busy.

He smiled and shook his head. "You should go. There is nothing much to do here anyways. We just have to leave the food to cook."
