Max and I had been at it for what felt like an eternity, and still, we had not got far at all. Kieran was one stubborn bastard, and I was beyond sick and tired of his bullshit now. The fury, rage and frustration were getting to me and my brother. The chains rattled each time Kieran strained against them; he did not care what we did or how we threatened him.
