I knew it would be stressful for her to shapeshift continuously for hours but there was no way we could go through that would not be involving stress.

I grabbed the timer.

"Start." I punched the timer and she shapeshifted.

"Three seconds yet again," I announced when she shapeshifted back to human.

She did it again and this time-lagged behind even more.

"4 seconds," I said to her and her eyes widened.
