We both stood stiff in the middle of the bar,it seemed like everything else had stopped for the moment. He was the one I had rejected, James. But he did not seen to be so sad at the rejection, it seemed more like he was anticipating what I had told him abd he was glad about it but today, I could see immense sadness and I had the same in my eyes.
