"Thanks for hanging out with me today, Ebony," Alissa said. It had been two days since we found out her mom escaped the Palace, and I could tell it was getting to Alissa. I decided to take her to a movie and out to eat to get her mind off her mom. We had so many guards with us it was annoying, but Keith wouldn't have let me go if I disagreed.
