We had to stay for the whole day at the Red Claw pack and then the next because Alpha Dane had to create a new council. 

Phil declined the offer to become the new Beta because he wanted to remain with his Alpha. So Alpha Dane chose the next in line, Turk. Turk, who was mated, agreed promptly with his wife Stella and their newborn pup. In addition to him, Alpha Dane chose Irvin and a few other White Fur members to stay with him.
