Camilla's eyes widened in surprise as David's expression turned dark and furious. "What are you talking about, Sarah? Did FFaith leave my apartment? When did this happen?" he demanded, his voice filled with a dangerous edge.
Sarah hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to proceed. She knew that Faith had left the apartment, but she also knew that David had asked her to keep it a secret. However, the urgency in his voice compelled her to reveal the truth.
"I'm sorry, sir. It was just a few hours ago. I tried calling her, but she didn't answer. I assumed she was busy packing or something." Sarah explained, her voice trembling slightly as she spoke.
David's mind raced as he tried to decipher what could have happened. Had Faith left him for good? Was she trying to escape from the divorce? His heart pounded against his chest as he struggled to maintain his composure.
"Thank you for letting me know, Sarah," he replied, his voice filled with a steely determination. "Please keep an eye out for any updates on her whereabouts. And inform my mother that I cannot attend tonight's dinner."
As Sarah left the room, David returned to Camilla, his eyes filled with anger and desire. He couldn't help but feel enraged about Faith's sudden departure, but simultaneously, he couldn't resist the allure of Camilla's seductive presence. He pulled her close once again, his hands tracing the curves of her body as he kissed her deeply, trying to forget about the chaos that awaited him outside the office walls.
Camilla's breath caught in her throat as David's lips met hers fiercely. She could feel the raw emotion simmering beneath the surface, a mix of anger and desire that left her both exhilarated and apprehensive. She knew that David was struggling with the news of Faith's departure, but she also knew she couldn't let go of this moment. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer as she deepened the kiss.
David's hands roamed over Camilla's body, tracing the curves of her hips and the softness of her skin. He could feel the heat building between them, a fire threatening to consume them both. He wanted to lose himself in this moment, forget everything else, and be with Camilla. But he also knew he couldn't ignore what had happened with Faith.
Camilla's heart raced as David's hands continued to explore her body, sending shivers down her spine. She could feel the passion building between them, a fiery intensity that left her breathless. She knew this was what she had been craving for weeks: a chance to be with David without distractions or interruptions. David's lips moved down her neck, leaving a trail of kisses that sent chills down her spine.
She could feel his desire growing more intense by the second, and she knew that she was ready to give in to his every desire. She moaned softly as he pulled away, his eyes locked onto hers with a fierce intensity. "I want you, Camilla," David whispered, his voice filled with a raw hunger that left her breathless. "I need you now." Camilla's heart skipped a beat as David lifted her and carried her towards the desk, setting her down gently on its surface.
She could feel the coolness of the wood against her skin as David's hands traced the curves of her body once again. She closed her eyes, letting herself be consumed by the passion building between them. David's lips met hers once again, his kiss filled with a raw intensity that left her breathless.
Camilla paused momentarily as she gazed into David's eyes. "David," she spoke softly, her words carrying a profound weight, "let me be the one to give you a baby. To make you a father. I will give you what Faith failed to give you."
David's eyes widened in surprise as Camilla made her offer. Before their divorce, he had never considered having a child with anyone other than Faith. But as he looked into Camilla's eyes, he saw a deep longing and desperation that tugged at his heartstrings.
Camilla continued, "I know we've only been seeing each other briefly, but I care deeply for you, David. I want to be a part of your life in a more meaningful way. Please consider my offer." She pouted and traced a finger down his arm.
David hesitated for a moment, his mind racing with conflicting emotions. On one hand, he was still reeling from the news of Faith's departure, and the thought of starting a new family with someone else seemed daunting. On the other hand, he couldn't deny the pull he felt towards Camilla, and the idea of having a child with her was both exhilarating and terrifying.
As David weighed up his options, Camilla's eyes filled with tears. "Please, David. I'll do anything to make this work. I want to be a part of your life."
David took Camilla's hands in his and looked into her eyes. "I need some time to think about this, Camilla. It's not a decision I can make lightly. My mother is expecting me to attend dinner with Faith. I must explain this to my mother before anyone else tells her." He sighed heavily, silently cursing Faith for her actions.
Camilla nodded, her eyes filled with genuine understanding. "Of course, David. I understand. Take all the time you need."
David pulled Camilla close again, his lips meeting hers in a tender kiss. As they parted, David spoke softly, "I care deeply for you, Camilla. Whatever decision I make, please know that you are important to me."
Camilla smiled softly, her heart filled with hope. She knew that whatever happened between them, she would always cherish their shared moments. As David left the office, Camilla sat at the desk, lost in thought as she contemplated the future and what it held for her and David. Her eyes rested on the shiny mobile phone on the desk, causing an idea to sprout and an evil smirk on her lips.
She quickly picked it up and looked it over carefully before punching in the password, which she easily guessed as David's mother's date of birth. She raised an eyebrow, found Faith's number, and texted her to say.
"Don't ever come back, or I will have you killed." With that, she pressed send, quickly deleted the message and placed it back where she had found it.
