David sat at his work desk and sighed in relief. It had been a long day of work meetings, and he was already exhausted. He was no nearer to finding Faith than he had been a month ago.

He hated how quiet the house was and how lonely the nights were without her. It was the unknown. Not knowing if she was okay with the baby and how the pregnancy was progressing. Did she have any support?
