TIFFANY'S POV

I woke up groggily, feeling like I fought demons in my sleep, my body was damn heavy and my head pounding with dull ache I was seeing stars.

I could hear the soft murmurings of voices around me, they seemed distant, as if coming from a faraway place. It irked me to know I wasn't alone, I wanted to drown in my pain and sleep it away. I tried to open my eyes, but the bright light from the room made me squint and I quickly shut them again.
