"So, you said this Lisa is a friend of yours?" Sandro asked, dropping the cigarette butt.

"Yes, she is" Irene replied, a stony look on her face.

The longer she stayed here, the longer she stayed without seeing her mother and without seeing Lisa, the more her anger consumed her.
