EMMA's POV :

Ian and I walked away from the bar and ended up strolling around the boardwalk. I left Tiff and Carrie with the car as they were getting a motel room to stay for the night. They truly were the most wonderful friends in the world, I shall cherish them forever.

Meanwhile, the boardwalk was almost empty as it was a cold December night. The air was chilly, but I was feeling all warm on the inside as we walked in silence for a while.
