Dark.

There was nothing but darkness. Violet could feel someone was carrying her, but she didn’t know who or what. She couldn’t open her eyes or even lift a finger. The last thing she felt was a pair of hands grabbing her. Her face was smothered with some kind of cloth that reeked of chemicals. And the next thing she knew, everything was dark.
