A couple of days had passed since the Halloween party fiasco and Zoie was feeling much better. She thought they’d get into a lot of trouble after what Asher did to Miles, but somehow, nothing happened. They didn’t get a call from the school or anything. Even Miles. Zoie thought he’d file a lawsuit, at the very least, against Asher. But nothing ever came up.
