As soon as Alex left, I came to my senses. It was as if his scent and body had compelled me, and now that he was out of the room, I was able to think more clearly.

"What the f*ck did just happen?" I muttered under my breath. "How could I let it get so out of hand?"

I pinched the bridge of my nose, closing my eyes.
