BELLA’S POV

The closer we got to the Castle, the more I felt miserable and filled with shame. I found it hard to think straight as I held my seatbelt tight, staring at the road with wariness in my eyes.

“Are you okay?” Beta Abel asked worriedly. I turned to look at him and sighed.

“Yes, I’m okay.” I lied as I let in a deep breath and looked away, trying to calm myself.
