“Lucas, Lucas. She’s awake,” I grabbed my mate’s shoulders and shook them to wake him up.

I hadn't been able to sleep peacefully since the rogue she-wolf was sent to the infirmary. I had just woken up and mindlinked the guard I had placed outside her ward, and he said she was awake.

My mate groaned and turned his body to the other side.
