I couldn't help but shake my head as I realized that my brother was extremely protective of me, which, at times, might be stifling. It was just a beer, and he’s already freaking out. What more if he found out that I like Jake?

As I made my way back to the pool area, I heaved a sigh and then brought the cup containing beer to my lips. But before I could even open the sliding door, I heard Jake’s voice, making me whip around, and glare at him.
