As we exited the hospital room, the sun began to rise into the sky, casting a warm glow over the hallway. Joining Rashaad in the waiting room, we were all feeling the effects of the long ass night. Jalen had coded twice from all the silver and wolfsbane in his system, which had slowed the healing and resulted in significant blood loss. Fortunately, the blood of an Alpha is universal, so Dante was able to replenish what he had lost.
