Zara's POV

My legs gave way under me as the wolfsbane poison spread through the rest of my body, leaving me in excruciating pain.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I managed to push the words over my lips. My tongue has already swollen in response to the wolfsbane. "I'm mated... and... marked. I... don't... belong... to you..."

My voice sounded strained and foreign to my ears.
