Zara's POV

I managed to escape from under Levi's watchful eye. He quickly attended to Ronan, and I slipped away into the cave.

I took care to remain invisible; I didn't want them to know I was there.

I crawled closer on my belly, hiding my scent. I could hear Alpha Jack, smell the sulfur in the air, and feel the vibrations of Nicolas's heart pounding uncontrollably with anger.

"She's back!" Kaya suddenly mused happily, making me frown.
