"Astrid didn't run away by herself... she wasn't alone!" I shouted, my fist clenching as the realisation hit me. My insides were raging with anger as I fixed my glare on the dress in front of me.

"What do you mean, Alpha Dane? What do you mean by 'she didn't run away'? She's not in the mansion, so she must have fled, just like always!" Beta Ivar scoffed, trying to clear the air. He didn't realise that Astrid wasn't like that.
