The large old truck Hila was manoeuvring through the road in the wood was being stretched to its limits. She had not quite anticipated this, she thought grimly as she swerved sharply and drove headlong into the forest, crashing into the undergrowth blindly.

The large vehicle behind her took a few minutes to swerve for no one could have anticipated that she would daringly rush into the dark woods, where there was no road of any kind.
