"So, are you still gonna go for the sleep over?" Hardin asks the moment I step out of the bathroom and I'm about to say yes, but I look into his eyes, my decision instantly changes.

He looks like of I say yes, he is just going to burst into tears and the last thing I want is for him to start crying right now.
