As soon as it was six in the evening, Fae took out the potion Nyx had given her and gulped it down. For a split second, she felt her heart stop, and she fell to the cold floor, grasping her chest as the pain surged through her.

After a few minutes, it stopped, and she stood up at once, looking at herself in the mirror to see that she was still the same.
