“You’re pregnant.”

The moment the words left Hunter’s mouth, the training field felt deathly silent. Even the twins, who had been laughing moments ago, stiffened.

I gulped. “I thought Knox told you.”

Hunter’s nostrils flared again, and he clenched his fist. “No, he didn’t.” His voice was calm, but there was a sharp edge in his tone that made me know that he was anything but calm.
