Aria’s POV

“She can’t defend herself,” Raven continued, completely unbothered by the dangerous look on Viktor’s face. “And keeping her locked up makes her a sitting duck. You’re putting her life, and your control, at risk by keeping her here.”

Viktor was silent. He had an unreadable expression on his face.

“Let her go,” Raven said. “If she dies here, you’ll have yourself to blame.”

“I can protect her. Aria just has a day left here.” ...
