Aria's POV

For a quick moment, I saw his eyes.

Those beautiful gray eyes that belonged to Knox.

But it vanished very quickly, and was replaced by that ugly red and black.

I froze, my heart pounding faster, and my hands shaking.

The beast growled deeper this time, crouching lower, getting ready to strike.

I flinched instinctively as fear overwhelmed me. This was dangerous, and I was risking a lot being this close.
