He left after we were done with only his lingering scent which stayed back in the room with me to keep me company. 

I thought about him as I cleaned myself up, wishing he had stayed longer, maybe held me in his arms and maybe even slept together. I kept on replaying sceneries even after I got into the shower and as I fell asleep.
