My head felt heavy and the only thing I felt was pain. Deep pain. 

I groaned, opening my eyes slightly. I was lying on the floor in a corner. The pain I felt in my head and my whole body made it difficult for me to stir around or move even in the slightest way. 

"Oh, she's awake. I told you she wasn't dead, Elijah."
