The days ran slowly after that. My injuries were already healed and I felt so much better. CJ hadn't come to the house since after the funeral and the doctor had gone back to his place. Saint's guys at the house were fewer than they usually were and he came home every late night and most times before I woke up. 

I didn't see Alessandro or the old man after the funeral either and the house just felt lonely, silent and empty with just me inside.
