Alexander stood in front of me wearing his formal Alpha King uniform. His tall, imposing figure filled the doorway as he extended the moonflowers and cake toward me.

"Here you go," he said simply.

I suddenly felt incredibly shy. I hadn't expected Alexander to bring me my favorite moonflowers and a strawberry cake.
